Found...Really?

I’ve been looking for too long
But I’ve finally found myself
Somewhere between
Anxiety and self-doubt
By only me, I was found
But have I?
This time I thought for sure
Or is it a trick played on my eyes?
They’ve been open too long, they’re blurred
The girl that can’t hold her tears any longer
The girl that only thinks she can stand alone
Against a storm, to make herself stronger
To make more beautiful, the side she won’t show
To keep herself in her own eyes. For some control
Or for fear or lack thereof? That is what she wants you to think
She has no fear, no weaknesses to show you
You can’t tell her you fell in love, she might open up
To put her heart on her sleeve would be putting herself at stake
She would never do that, she wouldn’t want to be hurt
She’s not even sure who she is, then to look for a mate?
She let her tears run their course but never let any one see
To let......her tears....dry......
I can’t even write a poem......god....what’s wrong with me? this is nothing like what I used to write
Its hopeless

It really wasnt that bad. With changing times can bring the stroke of a new pen. Whatever is on your heart let flow through the pen. If this is making any sense, I dont know. But you did a good job regardless. My poem that you commented on is what is going on in my life right now. A marriage flying south ne'er to return.
Go with your first impulse and the rest will follow suit.

Good start. Everyone gets blocked every now and then. Its certainly okay. Just put it down and find something else to do for a bit. It will come back to you; I promise! I can relate to your words and how you feel. Thanks for sharing.
