The rain keeps falling
I'm flooded with emotion
Crying out the pain
Screaming out the hurt
Clutching myself as you walk away
Leaving me in the rain
Laying in a puddle of my own misery
I can't hear you say goodbye
Over my "please don't leave me"s
I watch you leave
Your form sideways from my place on the ground
Tears make you blurred
And I just can't watch anymore
The tears just keep coming
Blending effortlessly in the rain
Seeping into me like the sorrow
I lay on the hallowed wasteland
Staring down the street
Hoping to see you running back to me
Thunder barks and lighting crackles
The rain just keeps falling
Then the darkness comes
Warm as the blood now pouring over pavement
My tears start to cease
As the pain starts to ease
And all I hear is the off beating of a broken heart
Lightning strikes to reveal a mess of blood and body
Laying on the sidewalk
With words written in the blood of me
"I Loved You"
