You starred as Ernest P. Worrell in many commercials and in movies too.
You were a very funny man and people loved to watch you.
People loved you and they remember you well.
Everybody loved Ernest saves Christmas and Ernest goes to jail.
You loved to drink and smoke and you did it a lot.
But sadly it took its toll because cancer was what you got.
You were awesome as Jed Clampett in 1993.
You were far too young when you died at fifty.

I hadn't realized that Jim Varney had passed away; that's too bad because he seemed like a really nice guy. It's nice that you wrote a poem to mark his passing.
