What Is My Life

Topic: Lifepoems

What Is My Life

What is my life
these days I spend alone
Loneliness, so hard to live with
something before, I have never known

Where to I find that someone
I need to have, here with me
To brighten up my life
only she, can hold the key

I have so much to offer
burried deep inside
The love, I can give
that I have been forced ,to hide

What is my life
the same, almost every day
This is not ,what I want
so I must find a way

A lovely intelligent, lady
is just what I need
Please, come forward
so I no longer, have to plead

Happines, will be there
for the two of us
And each day of our lives
will surely be a plus

How heartfelt....
We all need someone in our life ...
but it's far wiser to wait until the Right one comes along rather than meet anyone that may last no time and make a life HELL ....

The time comes for us all ..... with patience ...

Bruce, your plight is not without exceptions .. as most of ours
are not. BUT, I have always been of the belief that everything
happens with reason and that all of our needs, desires,
dreams and hopes will come to fruition. The point is to never
stop looking ... I know it's been said that "when you
stop looking, that's when it finds you". BAH! rubbish, I say. No
disrespect to those words, but I've always felt that seeking for
what it is you desire most is the right way to go. And what the
heck is wrong with that anyway? Do we stand in the produce
section of our super market hopin the ripest, most
desirable tomato with jump into our basket?? no. We
search and select the one we want.

Point is Bruce , this was a wonderful write of a desire that shall
be yours as long as you never give up hope. (I know it can be
taxing at times). Writing is therapeutic ... searching is just sensible.

Excellent!!

Your life is there, so live it now
Loneliness cruel , and I know how
Your words are romantic and so sad
You deserve a love to make you glad
And like myself love seems faraway
I will not deny, I say the same words you say
But never be downhearted, one day it will come
May your future be brightened, by rays of the sun
Sue xx

I know how you feel. I am still under the shroud of darkness and I await the girl who may have enough light to release me from this. But she has not copme yet so I wait still...

Great poem!
