To press my lips to yours is all I want,
this dream is the dream that my subconsious haunts.
A large open field covered in ice,
I came too late, so now I pay the price.
The price of love without love returned,
to be with you is all I yearn.
But this is the reality that will never be,
this is merely a dream, not a reality.
I wake with no one around,
I walk to your room with pictures on the ground.
Pictures from my dream, but how can this be?
how can these pictures come from my fake reality?

You must have really been hurt. This is a strong poem, with hidden emotion. It takes one to know one. |
