the endless ship

Contributed by scarlettdear on Sunday, 6th May 2007 @ 03:58:22 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

You float across my mind like a ship on rough sea
Constantly going in circles and leaving me wondering
We won’t decide if were staying out or coming to shore
With each look I love you even more
Thoughts can’t describe how much I want to get lost out here with you
Just sitting, staring and sharing my entire mind and watching the endless blue

The nights are long and silent the days are wild and free
On these planks is where our love was meant to be
Happiness was never so simple nor far from where we were
Yet we still won’t decide which side we are really for

The storm gets stronger and we’re powerless to stop the direction we’ve ended up in
It’s not like I’m objecting to this magnificent chaos we’re not choosing to end
This apart of what we are and the horizon’s telling us we’re not finished
With every breath I take more water comes with it and takes me down even farther
I see you in the distance trying to find your way back but the depths just getting darker
The last breath that we both have we save for each other
Twisting, winding, screaming to break free but all along it was meant to be

Welcome!
These are beautifull, touching, strong, aesome words in this write.
You remind me of my T.
I really can't find the words to do this write justice.
I'm happy to hear you came out of the coma, (writers block).
Huggs, big smiles, peace, joy, happiness,
emy
