Always the tragic love song, that reminds me of your voice
You used to sing to me, a Spanish love song at night
You used to play for me,
a les Paul guitar,
You wrote a song for me,
I still remember the words, and I still hum the tune sometimes.
I remember when you said you loved me,
It was the greatest moment of my life,
I told everyone about it and would think about it all the time
I ask myself now, what did I do to make u stop loving me
But I already know to answer to why
I guess I just have to deal
I recently contemplated, if I ever want to see you again
Again I know the answer, and again I know why
you messed up my life, in so may many ways
but you made it better in so many more
this long it has taken me to get my stuff in order,
this long it has taken me, to stop thinking its you who’s on the phone
but I know that forever
when I hear a tragic love song
I will always think of you
