I'd create beauty where there is none
A ray of golden sunlight
In a gray and cloudy day
A word to reverse my heartache
When there's nothing more to say
Just to write a poem
I'd see good where only evil dwells
A threaded needle
When something's clearly undone
A fresh oppurtunity
When left alone by "the one"
Just to write a poem
I'd dream a dream that couldn't come true
Finally seeing
Where true love stands
And in that true love
Finding he who understands
Just to write a poem
