burning your name

time’s frailty elapses
and still
comfortable in your skin
as i am in my own.
touching upon cherubs
like twilight despair
as I stand in the rain
burning your name.
shards in my veins
like ink bound to flesh.
the wind whispers your fate
as I lay
in this nameless grave.
