Fly me home to heaven lord I'm ready for the flight.
Fly me home to heaven lord the time is feeling right.
For if all we have is here and the feeling is the now.
Then I leave this earth and Lord I take a bow.

Fill me up with sunshine, cast your glow.
I must be better than you know.
Show me signs of grace.
I don't need to see your face.
I am sure I could meet you down below.

Fly me home to heaven lord I'm ready for the flight.
Fly me home to heaven lord the time is feeling right.
For if all we have is here and the feeling is the now.
Then I leave this earth and Lord I take a bow.

Filled with wisdom deep oh how I shine.
Light of all the heavens now are mine.
If you think me out of date, oh my lord we shall await.
We will wonder through it all just don't be late.

Fly me home to heaven lord I'm ready for the flight.
Fly me home to heaven lord the time is feeling right.
For if all we have is here and the feeling is the now.
Then I leave this earth and Lord I take a bow.

Wonderful work here ND! A great follow up to Bowl Full Of Gospel. I think it is just as powerful and leaves a great wanting for the reader. These words massaged my muscles, and allowed me to escape into the mood! Wonderful work!

BRAVO!

ND .. a wonderful piece of work this. I'm with Vincent, I think
this very well could be lyrics. A sort of "night hymn". :)

I really like the repeated stanza. It adds to its potency.
