BROKEN

Contributed by joe-joe on Friday, 4th May 2007 @ 12:42:16 AM in AEST
Topic: spiritual

-Broken, I’m broken; I’ve been broken by His love, grace, and mercy, filled with humility and brokenness-

-Shattered and splintered by the weight of His glory and the power of His cross, broken into a million pieces in the presence of His holiness-

-A fractured vessel with the sacrifice of praise flowing through every crack, that only His loving touch can heal-

A fragile jar of clay held together by His passion and the pleasure of His will-

In distance shadows, I lived, then with the brightness of His glory, He came with healing wings to forgive-

Invading all my darkness with the light of His love and the power of His purpose-

Giving me the leverage, I needed in order to arise and stand, with great hope, peace, and patience-

-Broken, I’m broken; I’ve been broken by His love, grace, and mercy, full of humility and brokenness-

-Shattered and splintered by the weight of His glory and the power of His cross, broken into a million pieces in the presence of His holiness-

-A fractured vessel with the sacrifice of praise flowing from every crack, that only His loving touch can reveal-

A fragile jar of clay held together by His passion and the pleasure of His will-

For He is the repairer of all my breaches, the only one that can mend that which has been cracked and broken-

-Restoring me by the word of His power and through the power of His love, which has been revealed and spoken-

When in my desperation I cried, He reminded me that He had already died, arising the third day with all power in heaven and in the earth-

-Giving me the power to overcome and to subdue all my enemies, through the transformation of the newbirth-

-For in His image and likeness, He formed me out of the dust of the ground, breathing into me the breath of life, making my heart beat sound-

He, and He only, can fix me, for He created and made me, no one else has the blue prints to my immortal soul or knows my purpose or destiny-

Therefore, I will always rejoice and give thanks in the joy of His presence and in the beauty of His holiness-

Partaking daily of His and essence, filled with true humility, which is only found in brokenness-
