White and Black

Contributed by unknown_utopia on Monday, 30th April 2007 @ 06:18:14 PM in AEST
Topic: anguished

A thought flows
alone
emotionally naked
slowly undulating
casting shadows...
and it explodes
as it comes into view.

Someone laughs
as I was asking
what is the difference
between
white and black...
dark forces are in power
innocent victims
are now walking dead,
in the shadows ignorance
pulsates
in some fools head.

Intolerance
slyly bides it's time
waiting
to do something to
someone
who is resistant and truly blind
to that ol racial deadly tune,
alone
in a darkened room
someone laughs
as I was asking....
what is the difference
if you're white or black?
