ABYSS
Frost as dense as leather,
Darkness secured its grip.
Society didn’t know whether,
Ardent horses were in an unpracticed hand.
*
*
Rocks burst asunder,
Quakes split the land.
Flames spurted fissures,
A catastrophe would wipe out man.
*
*
Remission of glacial sheets,
Brought floods across the fire.
Atmospheric violence,
Shook the funeral pier.
*
*
Death comes quickly,
Its flora harsh and global.
Temperatures plummeted further,
All over the equator.
*
*
Our earth floating in space,
Let open its doors.
Apocalyptic destruction,
Instead of holy wars.
