came from ages past
in my palm i hold this coin
set in a necklace.
history abounds
i am awed by the symbol
small perfect lantern.

Oh my, I am such a fan of haiku and I love how you incorporated these two together into a mysterious story. The necklace sounds so beautiful and intriguing. Bravo! Thank you for sharing.
Peace, Laura |

Wow Nessa, this has such an incredible mysterious
glow about it. You created a perfect image in my mind.
I admit to never really understanding haikus in the past,
but you and Laura do them so well, I have a new appreciation
and love for them. Excellent!! :)
