Stars to stones

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I read your blog today mommy
You wrote that you are hurting
and you are afraid to be alone.
I was there for you mommy,
you we're not alone.
Still you cast me away like a stone.

I suckled on your breast the day I was born,
I bonded with you.
I thought I was yours.

But instead, you cry for the love you lost.
What about me mommy?
Don't I deserve a shot!

Your blog doesn't even mentionned me,
you say you want to be free.
I only wished it was with me.

But you cry for someone else,
instead for your daughter you left on a shelf.

I used to be a star in your eyes mommy,
now I'm just a stone in your way
and I'm so very sorry.

Oh my, this is so excruciatingly painful. It's so sad that the innocent,
the one's without a voice are made to suffer for the cruelties of this
world. I pray the mother realizes the jewel she has. This little girl
is hope. Hope that needs to be nurtured and protected. Thank you
for sharing this and sending an important message.

blessings ~
