Umbrella
Opens wide
She likes how dry
It is inside
A superstition
She ignores
As she sits
Inside the door

Printed water-
Color forms
Soft green vines
Do adorn
Her crown and when
She was sold
He claimed she was
The prettiest one
In the store

Umbrella
Destined to shoulder the rain
Umbrella
You’ve opened again
Umbrella
Drips dry in the door
She never understood
Who she was open for
