I WAIT FOR THE DAY
THAT SHE COMES ALONG
TO BRING TO ME, HERSELF
AND OUR LOVE SONG

THIS LOVELY LOVE BIRD
THAT SINGS OUR LOVE SONG
TO STAY IN MY ARMS, FOREVER
WHERE SHE,WILL ALWAYS BELONG

I WAIT FOR THE DAY
FOR THAT TENDER KISS
SOMETHING, I NEED
AND REALLY REALLY MISS

TO BE LOVED, AND LOVE IN RETURN
A REAL NEED, AND BURNING DESIRE
I WAIT FOR THE DAY
FOR HER TO LIGHT OUR FIRE

THAT WILL BURN CONSTANTLY
AND THIS BURNING FIRE, WILL ALWAYS GLOW
GETTING BRIGHTER, EACH DAY
AS OUR LOVE AND DESIRE
CONTINUE TO FLOW

I WAIT FOR THE DAY
THAT SHE COMES ALONG
