Misunderstood

I am a simple man, who tries to do good
But I have realized that I'm misunderstood.
I am treated as a rock;
Left alone, kicked around, but never picked up
No one sees the good that can come from
me...
I weep and cry; try to show my emotions.
People don't notice!
They run, hide, and dismiss me as a silly
notion.
As heavy as the raindrops of a mid April's
shower,
If you would give me a chance
I'll help you bloom like a flower
At a moments notice without hesitation I'll be
there to comfort you.
I too am ready to bloom, but never given the
chance.
People are evil, but not with intent
They cause burden, strife, and regret
That's something I can't easily forget.
Though life seems like a cruel ship ride
With the waves that oscillate back and forth,
Out of every outcome something is good.
I am no longer misunderstood!

Dear Letuce, I think this is a good poem with an encouraging message. Your last lines show that faith has releived the lonely misunderstood feelings and has brought an inner strength. Very nice! Bizzy |

Great emotionz in your poem. I like how you clearly point out how you feel you are in the beginning, yet you can turn it around, and it soundz great! |
