LoveRemembered
|
A puzzle piece planted firmly on the ground,
Soaked in rain, waiting to be found
Perhaps it was the Curve of a voluptuous heart,
Or a single stroke of astonishing art,
The round of a tear,
A fox in the clear
Or even the arc of a smile,
Possibilities stretched for miles.
Possibly the bend of a frown,
Or a roof top far on in the town,
The overlap of entwined fingers,
Or the rose of a cheek that lingers,
The glimmer of an eye,
Or a sheer of a cloud so high,
So many possibilities for this little piece,
Until united, will not be at peace,
A picture half, love half pain,
Sitting all alone in the rain.
A piece of something that will never be returned,
A piece of my heart is what I have learned.

This was so sad reading it. I really liked it, and I know how it feels to feel like you have a piece of you missing.... |
