most essential

  • which is followed by you, mind or heart?
in the sands of time from which you part,
does loud music give you a headache or
sweep your dream heart through the floor?
in those matters choice for work or dwelling
which part of your soul might you be selling?

i believe one ruled by mind will successful be
right decisions and riches quite set them free,
each night in their perfect well organized home
lives satisfaction no desire to give it up or roam,
well deserved are these thinkers, so rarely blue
i envy these people for their demons are few.

beings of heart are another matter indeed, when
least expected, heart garden of permanere seed,
that dream takes hold, roots twisting and winding
they break out all over the world in the findings,
enraptured, soul captured, these cannot be late
for heart has shown thought out the garden gate.

    AhhhhhhNessa dear Ladyfawn,
Your poetic words are like music to my ears. It's been a long time indeed since I last read them.
The heart is treacherous, for it will take you to what you desire. The mind is more level-headed, that is if you put it into operation!
Your poem is very timely, and Most essential!
    Enjoyed it very much
    Warm love
    consue

A most compelling peice of writting, i have no idea how to choose for each has it's own pain . i think a little of both is good to keep the other in line though i fall more toward the heart side which is why life can hurt so much sometimes. Beautiful writting. Take care.

Wow I must read your work more often. I am loving your work, how tremendously artful, spiritful, and romantic. You have a clearly visible gift! Here as well as others I have read of your today I see true poetry. Something unfortunately only a small handful of people on this site can pull off! You indeed have the gift of the written word. Thank you for exposing it for us all to see. Well done!

    SUPERIOR WORK!

    Nessa ,

what a wonderfully thought-provoking write! Truly a feast of words
for the body and soul. You have, through this write, given me much
to ponder this night. Your words enrapture, my friend.

Simply put, the poem's structure was absolutely well done. Your rhymes rolled off the tongue, and as a result it all read with a steady pace and the poem's themes fit well with the structure. This was excellent.
