Damocles’ desire
Power, position, and wealth.
A single sword, held by a wire
Turned him away

My desire
Love, desire, and passion
A single sword, held by her
Could never turn me away

Even if it is to be my death,
I will not yield my new love
Whatever the fates have drawn
Let it come in due time.

Until then,
I will relish in love.
Something I never knew
But always wanted.

You are my heart
My sword
My denouement and my lover
And I will never yeild
