I LOVE THEE.

Contributed by FRANCO on Saturday, 14th April 2007 @ 11:38:44 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Come to me, oh my love, come to me
give to me thy cup - filled with grief
and pain to drink ‘nd drain away
the stress from the sorrowful life thy lead.

My drumming heart bleeds when
thy eyes gather a drop of tear,
oh come near my sweet dear
let me share your agonizing fear.

When I see, your dropped shoulders
I feel bulky boulder of sadness roll
within my chest, oh come to me love to rest,
thy weary head over my sturdy shoulder.

Cry not my love, feel the warmness of my
heart as I put my hands around thee ‘nd kiss
thy trembling lips to suck away thy woe;
I shall protect thee like an eye lid, ‘nd it’s a vow to thee.

Here I stand by thy side tall as tower with the help of
all mighty power to bring back the same smile on you face forever.
-FRANCO-

Awww Franco.... this is such a tear-jerker. So beautifully written and evidently, done so from the heart.
I miss talking with you.

Beautiful, sad, and gripping,
this poem has a medieval undertone
with a hint of modern day tragedy.
Great poem!

Oh, my dear friend, Franco .. this was so beautiful
and soothing. The first word that came to mind upon
reading this was gingerly. And it fits so perfectly. Your
emotion and how you expressed it was done most gingerly.

Absolutely and incandescently lovely.

You possess a very soft and touching heart, my friend.
