Your intentions

Contributed by Loriann on Saturday, 14th April 2007 @ 03:05:29 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

What are your intentions when you come home.
Is it to use me for sex then leave me all alone.

To fullfill your thirst for what you have not had.
The to throw me away leaving me hurt and sad.

To go back and forget all about me.
To tell me to go away and let you be.

To make me feel so unwanted and used.
Only to fullfill and to amuse.

To give you something that you can talk about when you go back.
Making me the punt to all your wise cracks.

To put on me nothing but shame.
To tarnish my reputation and name.

I do not want that if that is you intent when you come home.
I would rather sit here heartbroken and all alone.
Then to be used as a pawn in your sexual game.
Then to live my live with my head buried in constant shame.

So tell me now if this is how it will be.
Because if it is then it will not be with me.

We somethimes get caught forgetting to ask those important questions before we get so involved and notice a pattern we don't like..as women I think many of us have fallen into this space...I'm quilty....This is well done and reminds me...Ask questions don't keep jumping in. Thanks

It is well executed poem of women's emotional out burst. these questions must rise before committing one self, before it is too late.
It 's an universal expression of women, Thanks for sharing.

FRANCO.

I read this and don't know what to think any more, am i missing something? some time's i get not only confused but so depressed, doesn't any one just love any one any more, you know kindness and caring and just thankfull there is some one there to share so many thing in life before it is to late and then we are dead. Why is it we have to lose love before we realize how much we took it for granted. this is quite a powerful write and unfortunately seem's to be a never ending scenario in the scheme of things in life between the genders. Sorry
for your pain., hope your situaton grows better with the passing of time. take care.
