I thought wrong...

I thought i was ready to move on,
to face u with the a new courage that i had.

I found out everything i felt for u was wrong.

I had almost got your image out of my mind..
I had only to rid of the blush, looks, and smile...

The excitement from only just wanting a kiss
was gone from my head, a thought i dismissed,

The look of love in in your eyes had completely faded
I was ready to prove i could move on, ready to prove i could make it.

but not one minute ,even a second went by,
that u got that mischievious look in ur eyes.

A look that i had not planned to see
A look that replaced the word courage with weak.

I thought that i could face u, without my heart drumming fast,
but again i was defeated,
as if reading my mind, knowing every move I make

once again i thought wrong.....

Its funny, I never thought I would find a poem that could relate to how I feel right now, but this one came pretty close. Its so hard to get that person out of your head and when you see them its like everything you tried to do to forget them was for nothing. But leaving all my personal feelings out of it, its a well written poem and I enjoyed reading it.
