The water swishes all around
it's hard to breath
I'm going down

The land is lush and green
the land heaves and sways
all around
color houses dot the land

Ancient myths and names
This land has
with people of simple orogin

You may hear many tales
About ol' Newfoundland
some are good and some are bad
some are funny and some are sad
But all that happens
make newfys glad
That's why they drink
so much ale
