My world was changing,
Something I couldn't bear,
But when I held out my hand,
Nobody was there.
I found this group of people,
And was welcomed right away.
They were goofy and fun,
They all wanted to play.
One girl in particular,
Stood above the crowd,
But I hurt her feelings.
My stupid mouth's too loud.
I was wretched, felt bad,
Then the greatest gift she gave me,
Another chance at her trust,
And my spirit she set free.
And as my world continues to change,
When all my troubles are to hard to bear,
I reach out my hand for help,
And my Lady Nerwin is there.
She's a shoulder to lean on,
Healing words she shares,
When I need a friend,
She really cares.
