Darcy Chandler . . . Ben . . . Part 2

Contributed by myheartsvoice on Thursday, 12th April 2007 @ 02:06:55 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

With

a glass

in your hand

and a tear in

your eye

from

your window you watch

the world passing

by,

pondering

memories ever so frail

today is your yesterday and

your dreams are now

stale.

Now

all you are

is a wilting rose

an invisible some one

that nobody know's,

a

reduntant line

in an outdated poem

in a bottle of wine you've

now made your

home.

Oh

darcy chandler

look what life's done

the moon is now tainted

and gone is the sun,

with

faces all painted

and heart's on the run

i love you now come's

from the mouth

of a

gun.

Oh

darcy chandler

as sweet as a dove

inside of your heart there

was so much love, yet love

past you by for reasons

unknown now all that

you are is quite

alone.

But

lonliness

soon shall be

no more and the world

you'll no longer need,

the reeper's

reserved your place

on the floor that spot where

you go to

bleed.

And

bleed you will

'till bloodless you be

and your life remain's

no more, lying there still

like a tree that has fallen

cold and dead on the

floor.

Ben

Ben my friend this was a gripping, thrilling and very dark write. I have always liked your dark writes and I am so glad you have continued on with the Darcy Chandler series.
Do not look at that one star vote my friend, it is some loser who has nothing better to do and is trying to attract attention to themselves.
An excellent post penned very well.I thoroughly enjoyed this. Thanks so much for posting it and I look forward to the continuation of the series~
love & hugs your fan/friend,
dreamer

This is the first of your dark ones that I've read, and I really enjoyed it.
The images you create are so vivid, and you have narrated this story so well I felt a sort of empathy with Darcy Chandler.
I'm going now to hunt for the first part,

Dom
