If I could rip my heart out for you
Place it gently in the palm of your hands
I'd illuminate the arteries
To help you better understand
See I bleed in different shades
Watch the colors soak through
Every one as pretty as the next
Because their all a different shade of you
Your the very essence that keeps me alive
My reason to believe, my reason to survive
Breathing every breath hoping it tastes like you
I feel you in my bones, in everything I do
Your the lifeline to my heartbeat
The core of my soul where my faith and admiration meet
It's so much deeper than you will ever know
And it's so much more beautiful than I could ever show
My heart like my pen spilling emotions as they bleed
And it goes lifetimes deeper than these words you read
So take a good look at the colors and different shades
How I bleed a love that never fades
Watch the colors soak through...
As I bleed in different shades of you.
