My Apology

Contributed by Kike420 on Saturday, 7th April 2007 @ 08:43:36 AM in AEST
Topic: ApologyPoetry

My Apology

-I’m sorry for everything I did
-But more for what I didn’t do
-There are many things I could’ve said
-As simple yet true like “I love you”

-That look you gave me I’ll never forget
-‘Cause what I did I’ll always regret
-So please know that I’m being sincere
-When I say that I need you here

-And if you do decide to go and leave
-Just know you mean a lot to me
-‘Cause I really want to believe
-That you’ll accept my apology

This was a very sweet poem. I don't know of anyone who hasn't felt like this before. You hit it spot on with this write. Great job. I hope they accept this.

The simplicity of an apology is a wonderful gift.
Some people never apologize no matter how wrong they may be. Well done.

I think that was a nicely written apology. Before someone would go and leave me I would also want them to know they mean a lot to me. I think the fact that you put that line in there and also saying I need you here, made the poem really nice. Good job.
