I was closer to no other
in an infected, rotting society
we were bonded to each other
but our unblemished enjoyment was a time of brevity
the end was coming near
because pain seemed to be pleasures brother
before these months past
there was a time of pure happiness
when i truely believed everything would last
a naive stange that had not yet befriended lonliness
we were bonded us two, with a friendship so true
oblivious to the fact our comraderie would be cast
the piercing edge of truth wrapped me in a cacoon
victiminzing myself, I rejected the lies
the rolilng scrolls of falsehood crashed with a boom
corrupting and consuming my realities
i realized there was a lack of genuiness in our companionship
what we had was ending, just as everything once dies
and finally the lingering thread becomes a broken connection
replaced with a true portrait of character
no longer speaking to each other
revealing his love in another
and faithlessness to me all along
death was dishonesties harboring mother
consumed by the fear of being alone
the most disturbing feelings are released, chilling to the bone
i deprived myself from standing strong
i had trusted but been let down
i forgot who i was but finally i remember
forever i'll be who i am now
