Eternal Happiness

Contributed by trackiller2006 on Wednesday, 4th April 2007 @ 07:06:39 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

The moments of time tick by
Yet, I am unaware of the passing seconds
I long for the day when I am finally happy
The day I am able to hold you in my arms for all eternity
That will be the day that my life will be complete, the day that I feel whole
Up until the moment that I met you, I felt like my world had crumbled into a million pieces
I needed to find the glue to put myself back together
You, my dear, are the person to whom I will give the world and so much more
When I talk to you, the world seems so much brighter than ever before
It is as if I am looking at the beauty of the world for the first time
No longer do I walk alone in the monochrome mist
The path I walk is a tapestry of emotion and warmth
I only have one person to thank for that, and when we meet, I will show you that you will never be alone again
I will treat you like you should be, like the queen that you are in my eyes
I can only promise you one thing
And that is this
I will devote my mind, body, and soul so that you will be happy
I pray that we can both find our Eternal Happiness

I loved it! Sarah is a very lucky girl, and I'm sure that you two will have eternal happiness together.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
