The pain of loss cuts deep.
The loss of the times we had,
Now all long forgotten
Just one gaze of his, drives you completely mad.
You lay and laugh with him
and of course I don't mind at all.
I don't mind being ignored
and staring at the wall.
When you feel like it,
you'll come, sit and talk with me.
It's nice, that is until he calls,
for then my side once again is empty.
You ask if I'm alright,
with what appears to be concern and care.
I say yes, and you go right back,
to stroking his blonde hair.
I hope one day you'll realize
that when tears ran down your face,
t was me who held you in my arms,
in such a tight embrace.
You're the greatest friend I have
and to lose you to some guy,
the thought alone could kill me,
not to mention make me cry.

That poem is really deep and expressional. I really liked it because I think all of us have gone through something like that specially with friends. |
