Headlights moving closer and closer,
Squealing sounds,
Dark trails left
Across black asphalt,
And now here I lay
In what I wish was my grave
Unable to move,
Unable to feel,
Completely alone,
My loved ones perished
Leaving me to feel
The misery and guilt
Of losing a life
That I once had,
For I’m merely paralyzed
From the face, down,
Being kept alive,
By a face mask
