Dear Diary
My heart has weakened
From the pain I face
As I look around
This dreaded place.
The cobwebs grow
As my skin grows old
Although it hasn't
So I've been told.
My cat,so weak
And yet so fierce
Sits on the windowsill
Her eyes are peirced.
With anger and hatred
The cold bitter feel
As I look to her
In such appeal.
Although I am old
And yes, quite weak
I still feel strong
While I'm antique.
My heart is aching
I'm slowly dying
As I pray to thee
The angels crying.
For the night of dispair
Is the night that I dread
When the dead meet the living
And the living meet the dead.
I shall bid you farewell
My book of dares
We will meet once again
In my sweet daughter's prayers

A good in thought piece...lots of good flow and a good diary example of those days we descibe what others never get to hear. |
