The Light of Night

The violins of peace played loud on earth.
The wisdom of their power and their worth.
Let men take flight to care and nourish all.
The hate from hearts now took its mighty fall.

The chorus of a thousand angels rang.
No bombs or shots in silent space did hang.
The peaceful look of faces staring there,
Heart opened with an entity of care.

Light of brilliant blues and gold’s unfold.
Pains now washed from souls no longer told.
Loves embrace turned money into feed.
Removed enticement values of the greed.

A dream with all mankind involved.
I entered into worlds that oh too soon dissolved.
My dreams to come another day forecast,
That here on earth the holy dreams should last.

Oh, ND .. this is precious. Truly precious. It has such a beautiful feel to it,
but also a sadness that is overwhelming!!

Dream on, dear poet. Nothing can ever be accomplished, without
dreaming it first. And this is a beautiful and admirable dream indeed!

Loverly .. just loverly ~

~Breezy

This is song is reminiscent of the Rapture in Christian mythologies. However you secularized and inter-faith version with elegance. May this and all good things come to pass.

Bravo

If we did not...could not dream, I cannot imagine living.
This is a beautiful piece of poetry. I reread that second stanza several times. I loved it.
Much peace,
Laura

Sometimes poetry captivates and entrances us from the first letter to the last.
This had that effect on me, I was drawn in by the way you weaved your words together.
Great work

Steve

I have always thought that the light in any darkness, is our ability and inclination to dream. The brighter the dream... the less bleak the night and the more adamant the dreamer, the more likely the dream will exist beyond the dawn.

Dream on, ND.

Seeing the light,
~Snemmy
