Falling from the twilight

Once paused to mull over white sky
Found simple undulating blue
Found smile down the way
Walked gentle spring
Hand in hand
To stand high
To watch the winter freeze
With plumes of peach and scarlet threads
Falling from the twilight
As it sought to lift the pall veil of sleep
To wrench from dreams
The summer’s steep Promethean
Gaze.

Wonderfully put not just the change in the seasonal sky but the change we see with the comfort of one who paints our world in different artist colours as we stand hand in hand. |
