So many things that I have on my mind.
I need to express how I feel deep inside.
It seems like our time together is too far and between.
It makes me feel sad, sometimes I feel mean.
I have dreams of us making sweet love in our bed. When I awake I realize it was all in my head.
To me you come like a thief in the night,
you take what you need but no satisfied wife.
No kissing, no caressing, no sweet "I love yous".
You just climb on top, and in moments you're through.
Then you roll off of me as fast as you can. Turn away fall asleep, this is not the love making I planned.
I rage and I scream deep down in my soul,
cause you wont love me and hold me,
it's out of my control.
I don't doubt that you love me.
I know that you're feelings are true.
It's just sometimes I need more;
I need more "I love yous".
These insecure thoughts
they dance around in my head,
and after you take me for sex
I sometimes wish I was dead.
I feel used and abused my heart bleeds and aches because i put expectations on you
I know it's a mistake.
I hope someday, you can see how i feel.
when making sweet love
you don't care how I feel.
It seems that seeing I am satisfied too,
it's something you're not concerned about;
cause it's all about you.

Oh how close to home these words strike memories of another time another man another place.
I was told by yet another wise friend...if you give someone that which you are needing..you will recieve exactly that. Be an exquisite power of example by showing and maybe...just maybe he can learn how to love with passion.If not...open up and share with him what your needs are. |

It does seem that the art of making love has been lost and been replaced by something else too mechanical.
We need to remind our partners how much we still love them, not just make assumptions that they know !!
