Like a hurricane in a land-locked state
Everything happens for no reason at all.
We continue our lives
Surreal to the senses
With no definite answer.
No subtle cause to forge on
But soft golden skin.
We'll fly wing to wing
With nothing to hold on to
And I will not fall with you.
But you were always so certain
And now the white washed walls
That eliminate chains
May rearrange the thoughts you had
When you were here so long ago.
Those yellow haired school girls
May have been right all along
And, like magnets, we repel.
Still we have no definite answer.
No subtle cause to dismiss
The mere notion
Of flight among the clouds.

| Well Done. I truly wish we had all been given the ability to fly.In dreams alone is the only place I have been successful.The question here arises do we finally take flight with angel wings when leaving this gravity globe? |

Rachel, this is wonderfully written. It reads smoothly, easily and it is definitely a re-reader- meaning it is so elegantly & wisely composed that it is a joy to read again.
