HIS WORD

HIS WORD

His word is so sweet to my ears, spoken so softly and gently into the depths of my heart, spoken with peace, love, and authority-

-Filling my soul with patience, power and prosperity-

His word will accomplish the task for which it was sent, life and that life more abundantly for everyone that will receive and repent-

Don’t look for His word in the wind and the rain, or in the fire, nor the earthquake, but in the still small voice, His will, He will relate-

Therefore, allow His word to be hidden in your heart, so you want sin against Him, living in righteousness, peace, and joy-

-Overcoming him that comes to steal, to kill and to destroy-

Through what He has spoken, we are confident in our victory over death, hell, and the grave, secure in our knowledge of His never-ending love-

-Revealed in the glory of the descending dove-

For He came with power to fill us all, with the power to overcome the tragedy of our great and tragic fall-

Let us not doubt therefore, His ability to do and perform that, which He has spoken, for suddenly it shall occur and happen-

When the time is right, His word shall be fulfilled in power and with might-

The entire world shall see and behold, come, now, therefore, for that reason, and be part of His eternal sheepfold-

His word is His binding force that binds us to Him, as a threefold cord, which cannot be easily broken-

-As long as we stand fast in everything that He has spoken-

For His word is Spirit and they are life, feeding the hungry soul with righteousness, peace and joy-

-Giving them the power to overcome him that comes to steal, to kill and to destroy-

His word lives forever in our hearts, overcoming every test and trail, every trick of the enemy, his every deception, and all of his wicked and evil guile-

Finally and forever, we can always count on His word, everything that He has spoken or said-

His word, which has redeemed us from among the living dead-

Giving us beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, bathing us in the true glory of His holiness-

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
