WOKE IN THE NIGHT

I woke in the night
Thought I could see
You lay there smiling back at me
I reached out to touch you
But you were not there
You’d disappeared
Into thin air
Was I just dreaming
Something I never do
It was you I know it
Smiling back at me
With a smile on my face
I went back to sleep
