I love the springtime!
in all it's glory
the butterflies
so brilliant--
--MAJESTIC
and i the child
---the hunter!
the chase is the fun part.
better flutter away
or be caged until i see fit.
even til--
death do US part.
----SNAP
I caught you
inbetween my hands of
wrong and right
black and white
life AND death.
I open them to see your beauty.
only a peek
and i'm done with you
my grin crawling across my face.
I set you free!
but you just lay there-- in my hands
---unmoving.
---unliving.
I broke your heart
and threw you away
left you like the stars leave the night sky.
ran off to catch another love.
I am a child--
and never knew--
everything i was--
ALWAYS--
--capable of..

I really liked this poem because you have been so honest with yourself and your readers about how you feel and that is admirable. The poem is touching and sad because it vividly describes the pain the subject of this poem has been put through.
Well done,
Dom |
