Always holding on,
Wilting with age.
Along the rough side with
Yesterday's pain.

While looking back,
If becomes clear,
The healing ability
Hardly appears.

Yearning for closure
Only you can provide
Unless I avoid... the haunting lies.

*sigh* Yes, the lies always seem to put a damper on things.
