I poured my heart out to a book,
I should of taken my advice,
I should of had a closer look,
The stars were flashing their warning lights
As I walked home on that cold winter night.
The Symphony of sirens,
Self inflicted guilt,
The epitome of hatred,
All marinated in filth,
I wish I coud take my heart away to some far distance place,
Where I'm freed from my martyrdom,
And my emotions won't go to waste.
