Lovers Song

Contributed by spike on Friday, 23rd March 2007 @ 10:48:52 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

see me watching, looking for pleasure
a lover of measure to light up the dark
my eyes softly staring, dreaming of pairing
union with passion to make me feel whole

make it a mystery,
sing it so sweetly
love me so gently,
and hold me till dawn

cradle me softly,
bond to me tightly
speak to me lightly,
and rise with the sun

I crave the warm kisses, the hand that caresses
the sound of seduction that merges two hearts
smiles in the moonlight, laughter like crystal
the rustle of clothes as they fall to the floor

make it a mystery,
sing it so sweetly
love me so gently,
and hold me when gone.

*siiiiigh* Yeh.... that.

I adore this, Spikito. I didn't so much read as heard it sung. Regardless of the category in which it was posted, this to me is a love song........ as it should be, I think (for such a moment is a dance, no? and the whispers/confessions/utterings of lovers is, I'd suggest, the rhythm for the same).

LOL... I just glanced up at the title [which I had apparently lost sight of when I fell into the piece] and realized I can/should just hush ---- clearly, I'm rambling unnecessarily here.

It's wonderful, ito. Truly.

What an absolutely lovely, lovely piece!!! I adore this from top to bottom --- it made my heart soar, and that I assure you, is often a tough feat! This is exceptional though Spike, and I am betting on you : ) This part rocks:

I crave the warm kisses, the hand that caresses
the sounds of seduction that merges two hearts
smiles in the moonlight, laughter like crystal
the rustle of clothes as they fall to the floor

S,

first I gotta say .. holy heck!! That picture is .. well ... *fanning self*

okay .. you got my attention! lol Now, as far as the piece .. wow, S.
I am stunned. Truly, stunned. And not in the usual kinda way your
writes stun me. This was so lyrically beautiful, in every single
way. (And appropriately titled .. I, like snemmers could actually
hear it being sung). Damn. I just read it again .. (and I'm sure I
will many more times). I am so in love with this piece. I can't even
explain what captivates me so, but it has a grip on me this night
that will not relent. Thank you for sharing this.

Stunning (literally! )

~Breezy

Great ballad and not just another silly love song especially if a Jewel or Norah Jones got a hold of this.
Quite good actually and also a true delight for the leg man.

Well Done
