soulmate for a life time

So many flowing trees, many golden plains,
and so many roses,
and I have chosen but only one for me.
The different colored leaves fall each year ,
blankets of snow begin to cover the dusty foot tracks left by running children,
and the summer sun leaves it's mark on many faces,
but you were the summer that I had chosen to keep me warm in my coldest winter.
You make up the stars in the sky ,
you are the ripples in the lake,
the leaves on the trees,
the heart in my chest and the reason I still breathe.
My reason for living.
you are my flowing tree,
my golden plain,
and my one and only rose.
My gift and my soulmate for a life time.
