I guess we all have a journey ahead
And what destiny lies ahead
All I know is one thing
I rather be alive than dead
So this for my new life
And the journey ahead
So I try and live each day
Without the pain in my head
Then I can move on in life
And all that lies ahead

I enjoyed your post. Good use of simple word repetition, and i share your philosophy - sometimes when there is nothing else to anchor yourself to, you only have the choice of living or dying.
