Can you see how much you have hurt me
Why can't you see the hurt that shows in my eyes
The love I use to have for you now dies
My heart is aching to be held close by some who cares
The hurt that you put me through
All the yelling as you pushed me down a flight of stairs
Words you would say to me afterwards, I know now they were so very untrue
I looked into the mirror as I touched my face full of bruises and cuts everywhere
The names you called how the echo in my mind
I feel so alone and useless inside,why can't someone see
The scars on my body will always be there as I try to put this behind
I want to be alive and free
To hear the words of comfort as they wiped my tears
All my pain and suffering is finally now all exposed
