I sit in the spot where you first kissed me and remember.
Remember your kiss, your touch, and your smile.
Remember the way you loved me.
As I am remembering these things, I am struck with an unbearable pain.
Because you will never love me again.
I will never kiss you, I will never touch you, and I will never see your eyes that sparkled with laughter again.
For your ashes are spread over the waves, the waves that are carrying you farther and farther away from me.

this is such a heartfelt sad piece.. it hurts when you lose someone but remember everything happens for a reason.. there is probably someone better awaiting you.
