I'm Tired

Contributed by sadaddy on Monday, 19th March 2007 @ 10:46:33 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

I am tired of the stories
The lies you spread
Only to be deceitful

To be so hurtful
To cause so much pain
Only to get your way

I am tired of all the worry
The sleepless nights
All the nights I lye awake

Just wondering where you
Of how you may be
Are you safe and secure

I am so tired
Of all this confusion
That I can be only disillusioned

By all this that has happen
Which has cause much pain
The hurt I feel is so real

I am so tired
Of trying to reason
Because you do not listen

So let me say
I am so tired
All I want is
For you to come home

I can only imagine from previous posts I've read of yours that this is to your daughter. When read with that assumption, I share your pain of frustration. Well penned piece that captures and portrays the emotion of the moment.

Love does cause us so much worry. Having raised four boys one year apart has worried me silly most times. I finally had to let go and let the universe look after them.Well written and I feel the love and worry here.
