The way I feel,
the way you taste,
I could never forget.
Your scent it floats,
inside my brain,
because I never could forget.
To shake you off,
oh how I tried,
I could never forget.
But should you leave,
surely I'd cry,
because I never could forget.
You broke apart,
between my fingers,
I could never forget.
Weeks went by,
and still you'd linger,
because I never could forget.
It just so seems,
I haven't breathed,
I could never forget.
And all this time,
I haven't dreamed,
because I never could forget.
